Global Apparel Headquarters

The history and authenticity of two historic buildings was leveraged to strengthen this apparel company’s culture and way of working. A new central atrium space in both buildings balances the natural light, showcases the existing structure, and fosters interaction between executives and team members. This use of natural light, combined with a careful consideration of materials, creates an inspirational space befitting of an innovative creative office and provides a powerful showcase for the company’s brand. A new open stair in each building, along with a new sky bridge between the buildings, reorganizes the circulation path to create a clear and direct connection between the departments.

A new pedestrian bridge connects distinct campus buildings. The design was inspired by the Bollman Truss Bridge, a two-span through-truss structure that was the first all metal bridge consistently used for rail travel.
