Designed by LEVER, Cascada uses a mass timber system with regionally sourced Mass Plywood Panels and is LEED Platinum certified. Biophilic interiors, energy-efficient systems, and low-carbon construction create a sustainable urban sanctuary that blends innovation with a strong sense of place. Judges highlighted the project as “an innovative and practical example for others to study,” praising its efficient energy systems, natural ventilation, water harvesting, and locally sourced materials, setting a strong benchmark for sustainable hospitality.
