The event titled ULI Los Angeles and NEXT Present: Case Study and Site Tour of 843 N. Spring Street will take place on May 21, 2024, from 5:30—7:30 pm at 843 N Spring Street in Los Angeles. Hosted by ULI Los Angeles in collaboration with ULI NEXT LA, this event features a tour of LEVER's newly completed building. This mixed-use, transit-oriented development is the first of its kind: Los Angeles’ first mass timber building at scale. The new development provides a carbon-conscious office environment for next-generation creative tenants, while offering the community a public landscape experience in a high-density urban setting. With a fully integrated vertical landscape experience designed by Field Operations, the project is defying the norms of design and development in the region.

The speakers for the event will include:

Heidi Creighton, Senior Advisor, USGBC California (moderator), Richard Kennedy, Partner of Field Operations, Thomas Robinson, Founder and Principal of LEVER, and Carl Valentino, Project Executive of Shawmut Design and Construction.

The event, sponsored by LEVER, will include discussions on sustainable design and urban development. LEVER's Spring Street project has received several awards, including the Next LA Citation Award from AIA Los Angeles, the Honor Award from SCDF Design Awards, and the Sustainable Project of the Year from the Los Angeles Business Journal Commercial Real Estate Awards.
