LEVER will be participating in the Forest Service Wood Innovations Grantee Spotlight: Mass Timber, hosted by the Forest Service Wood Innovations program. This session is scheduled for July 9, 2024, from 1—2 pm EST and will be held online.
The session will highlight mass timber projects that have been supported through Wood Innovations Grants. The Forest Service has significantly invested in the development of the American mass timber industry, viewing it as vital for supporting forest health, wildfire prevention, strengthening rural economies, and developing affordable housing solutions.
Attendees will learn about three projects funded by the Wood Innovations Grants: an affordable housing mass timber building in Iowa, a tool for researching and tracking regional wood products to improve decision-making in the building industry, and a cross-laminated timber manufacturer and modular home builder in Colorado.
The speakers include Scott Cutler from Cutler Development, Timothy Cooke from LEVER, and Kyle Hanson from Timber Age Systems. For further information and to register for the event, please visit the registration link.
