This 60,000 sf project knits together two industrial warehouses to form one light-filled creative office campus. Like many early structures in the Pacific Northwest, the existing buildings are framed using regionally-harvested timber. Recognizing the historic and environmental significance of this material, the design preserves the original lumber and uses salvaged wood to create a contemporary addition that joins the two structures. Other improvements include a new weathered steel façade, expanded windows, and a new clerestory. RedFox Commons is scheduled for completion in early 2019.
