Construction has begun on a major expansion of Adidas North American Headquarters in Portland, Oregon. The design strengthens the campus with two new buildings and site improvements including a redefined entry sequence and new and refreshed landscapes. Echoing the dynamism of small stadium environments, the campus’ new architecture is positioned around a soccer field.

The design for the North Building includes a food hall, coffee bar, maker and creative labs, meeting zone, and four levels of open workspace. The South Building is intended to serve as a campus destination for athletic training and community events. Leveraging the firm’s expertise with timber innovation, the structures will utilize mass timber or hybrid timber structural systems.

Completion of the target LEED Gold project is expected in 2020.
