On December 8, LEVER Associate Timothy Cooke will join the Climate Smart Wood Group on a panel at the 2022 Carbon Friendly Forestry Conference, an interactive virtual conference focused on climate-smart, ecological forest management. Timothy’s panel “Climate Smart Wood Group: Pacific Northwest Debut” begins at 3PM.
“The panel will discuss what is driving interest in wood as a climate project, the technical challenges of carbon accounting across the wood supply chain, procurement from a perspective of an end-user, the pathways to climate-smart forestry upstream in the supply chain, and upcoming work by the Climate Smart Wood Group and the USDA Climate Smart Commodities Program in Washington and Oregon.”
