The Portland Museum of Art has revealed exciting concept designs by their four finalist architecture and design teams for a major campus expansion that will add 60,000 sf of space and unify the museum’s campus in the heart of Portland, Maine. LEVER Principal Chandra Robinson traveled to Maine to join the PMA for the big reveal and to represent our team for a community Q&A. Design concepts will be on display to the public at the PMA in the Lower Ground Floor from November 18 through December 31, 2022, and can be viewed in their online Concept Design Gallery.

LEVER’s team includes Unknown Studio, Chris Newell of the Akomawt Educational InitiativeOpenbox, Once-Future Office, Atelier Ten, Studio Pacifica, Arup, and Simons Architects, among others.
