The Nature Conservancy’s decision to pursue LEED Gold v4 BD+C New Construction certification and material reuse for their new headquarters expresses their commitment to sustainable building design and conservation.

Natural materials and biophilic design concepts were used throughout the interior and exterior spaces to connect people with nature. Fresh air, low toxicity, and natural light were introduced to promote health and wellness in the building. Aggressive energy efficiency goals, use of natural resources, and rainwater management were some of the many strategies implemented to achieve LEED Gold Certification.
