The International Mass Timber Conference in Portland, Oregon, will feature two building tours on March 25, 2025, highlighting LEVER’s projects: Albina Library and Cascada Hotel and Spa.
Tour #2: Washington & North Portland will visit Albina Library, a project designed by LEVER in Portland, Oregon. The tour will depart at 7:00 AM and return around 3:00 PM. Albina Library’s renovation includes a 30,000-square-foot expansion, restoring the historic Carnegie building while introducing new spaces such as a teen center, community room, and courtyard. The project integrates regional timber materials and community-driven design elements.
Tour #4: Manufacturing & Hospitality will visit Cascada Hotel and Spa, also designed by LEVER. Departing at 8:00 AM and returning at 3:00 PM, this tour will explore the 105,000-square-foot project, which focuses on wellness and sustainability. The design incorporates a mass timber structural system, a wellness center with subterranean hot springs, and high-performance sustainability strategies, including solar panels and rainwater harvesting.
Both tours will provide attendees with insight into mass timber applications in architectural design, guided by project teams and industry professionals. For more information or to register, please visit International Mass Timber Conference.
