Are you a detail-oriented storyteller who thrives under deadlines and takes pride in crafting compelling, polished submissions? We're looking for a Proposal Coordinator (2+ years experience) to take ownership of proposal production, from RFP to final delivery, while playing a meaningful role in how our studio pursues work. You'll collaborate with firm leadership and project teams, bringing strong writing, design, and organizational skills to pursuits.

Role Overview

You will manage proposals and qualification packages, from RFP through final delivery, while collaborating with firm leadership on pursuits across cultural, civic, higher education, and affordable housing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and produce proposals, qualifications packages, and presentations, including both written content and visual layouts
  • Maintain and update marketing templates, databases, and materials
  • Write and edit project descriptions, resumes, cover letters, and marketing content for proposals
  • Support awards submissions and website updates as time allows
  • Contribute to pursuit-related research
  • Other tasks as assigned

Skills you bring

  • 2+ years of proposal experience, preferably within an architecture, engineering or construction firm
  • Strong writing, editing, and graphic communication skills
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive; 
  • Confident managing multiple deadlines and comfortable with evolving priorities 
  • You are energized by collaboration and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively
  • Interest in contemporary architecture; experience in higher education or cultural markets is a plus

Work Environment

  • Full-time, Portland-based position
  • Hybrid schedule, in-office Monday–Thursday, remote Friday
