The World Forestry Center and the Port of Portland host Forest Pub: Mass Timber, Made in Oregon on March 30, 2026, from 7 to 8:30 pm at McMenamins Mission Theater in Portland. The event is a conversation with partners at the Port of Portland about the Mass Timber and Housing Innovation Campus at Terminal 2., examining how Oregon-grown materials, innovation, and collaboration support next-generation construction, local jobs, and responses to the region’s housing shortage.

Speakers include Thomas Robinson, Founding Principal of LEVER, alongside Emily Dawson, Founder of Single Widget; Kimberly Branam, Chief Trade and Economic Development Officer at the Port of Portland; and Mike Raley, Director of the Oregon Acoustic Research Laboratory. The discussion addresses research, manufacturing, and real-world applications of mass timber, with perspectives from design, economic development, and building performance.
