Festival registration is now open for Design Week Portland 2020! The festival runs April 18-25, and will feature hundreds of great events throughout Portland. LEVER, along with Home Forward, LRS Architects and O'Neill/Walsh Community Builders, will be hosting an evening event at The Louisa Flowers on Thursday, April 23 as part of the festivities. Guests will have the opportunity to engage in a design conversation, learn more about the evolution of the project, and take a guided tour of the building.
The Louisa Flowers is the largest affordable housing development constructed in Portland in 50 years. Developed by Home Forward, the project provides 240 units of safe and affordable housing for residents earning at or below 60 percent of the median family income. The building’s Lloyd District location offers direct access to public transit and close proximity to downtown. Its design welcomes residents with light-filled, modern apartments and amenities such as a community room, garden courtyard, and an artist’s mural in the main public space.
